Red Boots! Red Boots!

So apparently if you wear red boots out in Holland or Belgium, that is what they call “f@%k me” boots.  Jenna wore red boots to the jail.  Yeah, now that is just something.  So we played a jail.  They wouldn’t let us take pics in the jail, but we did get some pics of the walls and razor wire and with a guard.  After going through the security of guards and the warden, we got up on stage and played a show for the inmates.  They were actually really into it; i guess we were just like sweet lady freedom.  Then last night we ventured back into Holland and played Cafe’ Tielemans. This was a little honkey tonk kinda place and before the show, they fed us…horse.  That’s right, Jason, Tanis and I ate horse.  It tasted like pot roast.  The locals were very energetic, and we had a hoot of a time playing for them.  It actually reminded us of a Stag night. Everyone drank the same kind of beer and ignored the smoking laws.  The owners kept beers in our hands and we kept the rock in their ears.  A good trade. Tanis is keeping a beer on her eye to help it not be gross, well not as gross i guess.  Its pretty gross.  We call that beer the Eye-niken, because it’s a Heineken.  Get it?  High walls, razor wire. Theres no getting outta here.

How do you book a show at a jail? Incredible. I’m glad you guys got to try horse; it’s one of my personal favorite meats but difficult/impossible to get in the U.S. (I’ve certainly never had it here).

Umm that second “Pancake Master” above is an impostor of myself, the real Pancake Master, who made the first comment. Note the associated URL.

At first I thought you used a good pun and said you had a HOOF of a good time, I’m disappointed in you. At least you guys are rockin’ in Euro. I wish I was there!
